Symington’s puts 142 jobs at risk with closure of Victoria Foods factory

The convenience food manufacturer issued staff with letters informing them of the start of a 90-day consultation process and the intention to close the factory and move production to its facility in Bradford.

Symingtons underwent a management buyout in early June 2012. It acquired the cake and baking mix manufacturer later the same month for an undisclosed sum.
