On Feb. 8, MGPI completed the sale of its bioplastics manufacturing facility in Onaga, Kas., and certain assets at the companys extruder bio-resin laboratory located in Atchison. The purchase price was $2.8 million, and MGPI said it expects to record a $1.4 million gain on sale in the first quarter of fiscal 2013.
