On March 3, "The Spring Diplomat Association 2016 and The Global Promotion Conference of China International (Guangzhou) Fishery and Seafood Exposition 2016" was grandly held in Taoran Pavilion, Ersha Island,Guangzhou.

Guangdong Aquatic Products Marketing and Processing Alliance president Lin Guopeng mentioned that Guangdong is a large Consumption province of aquatic products,its consumption of aquatic products is more than 7 million tons per year.Guangdong also is a large province of fishery production and circulation in China,it should have an internationalized exhibition platform. According to the statistics, 2014 Guangdong fishery output is 8.365 million tons and its output value is 111 billion yuan, fishery gross output value is 235 billion yuan.
2015 the annual export of aquatic products in Guangdong is 480700 tons and its export value is $2.808 billion. Main export countries and regions are the United States, the association of south-east Asian nations (ASEAN), Mexico, Canada, Japan, European Union, Hong Kong. Main varieties are shrimp, tilapia, roast eel, etc. 2015 import aquatic products are 106200 tons and its output value is 714 million dollars. Imported varieties are: Australia lobster, Canada Like clam, Boston lobster, Vietnam, Thailand penaeus monodon, Argentina squid, Norwegian salmon, Ecuador prawns, etc
